"Casa Cupola" is an italian translation for dome house.
A home renovation project based in Monopoli, South of Italy for which I am a part of in the design team and handling over the low budget refurbishment of the existing kitchen.
The biggest challenge of the project is that its not a regular house which has a regular shape but a residential living which is circular/ dome.
This is the first 3d draft finalized for material selection process which includes existing blue ceramic tiles, newly fabricated modular kitchen workspace finished in red acrylic for shelves based on client's love & preference of color, Polaris finished Italian laminate which is anti-fingerprint / scratch, heat & shock resistant along with smooth & velvety touch in color "tortora" which is an Italian word to indicate a light-brown color with shades of grey or dove grey used for bottom counter workspace, White Italian marble finish laminate countertop sourced from IKEA since it is a low budget project & a vacation house which is used for a limited time frame.
New appliances are sourced which included the built-in washbasin/faucet/ gas stove/ oven & chimney. Overhead storage is finished in oak wooden laminate & grey tinted glass fixed in profile shutters for light weight cabinetry and a sleek Italian kitchen look.
Further detailing are yet to be finalized as the project resides at designing stage as of now.
